How the training program is structured
The UXQB® CPUX path is cleanly cut: one fundamentals certificate and three specializations on top of it, one for each phase of user-centered design. All four trainings are bookable as live webinars and as classroom trainings in Vienna and Frankfurt am Main.
1. Fundamentals: CPUX-F
The fundamentals training covers the user-centered design process, the UXQB® terminology and the methods that all three advanced modules refer to. It leads to the CPUX-F certification and requires none itself.
2. Go deeper in one phase
CPUX-UR for eliciting usage requirements, CPUX-DS for designing solutions, CPUX-UT for usability tests and evaluation. Each module stands on its own, leads to its own certification and builds on the fundamentals.
3. Connecting to requirements engineering
The fundamentals training is also part of the requirements engineer's program – usage requirements and functional requirements come out of the same workshops. Anyone responsible for both will find the matching complement there.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to take CPUX-F before the advanced modules?
The advanced modules assume the content of the fundamentals – terminology, process and methods are not introduced again there. Anyone starting out therefore begins with CPUX-F.
Which advanced module fits my work?
CPUX-UR if you elicit and describe usage requirements. CPUX-DS if you design solutions. CPUX-UT if you plan, run and evaluate usability tests. The modules can be taken individually and in any order.
Is this a design training?
No. CPUX is a process and method scheme: elicit, design, evaluate. Graphic design and tool operation are not part of the certification.
