As a Business Analyst, you identify, structure and model business processes with high precision to seamlessly connect potential opportunities with both business and IT.
Our certified training programs – based on IIBA® , PMI-PBA® and OMG® OCEB standards – empower you to analyze and sustainably optimize your company's processes.
How the training program is structured
Business analysis is measured in two places: in the certificate and in the project. The program covers both – preparation for ECBA® and PMI-PBA®, and the tools with which processes are actually captured, modeled and improved. All trainings are bookable as live webinars and as classroom trainings in Vienna and Frankfurt am Main.
1. Fundamentals and certification
The fundamentals training covers the tasks, techniques and terms of business analysis according to IIBA® and PMI-PBA®. The certification preparation builds on it and works specifically towards ECBA® of the IIBA® or PMI-PBA®. No prior certification is needed to start.
2. Model the processes
BPMN 2 adds the notation in which business processes are documented reliably – up to the OCEB-2 certification of the OMG®. The creative methods add the techniques by which requirements come about in a workshop in the first place.
3. Improve the processes
The advanced training leaves documentation behind and turns to optimization: getting to the bottom of existing processes, naming weak points and justifying changes so that they actually get decided in the organization.

Frequently asked questions
Which certification suits me – ECBA® or PMI-PBA®?
ECBA® of the IIBA® is the entry-level certification and requires no professional experience. PMI-PBA® addresses practitioners with project experience in business analysis. Our preparation training covers both paths.
Do I need BPMN if I already model with UML?
BPMN 2 is the notation for business processes, UML the one for systems. In business analysis the process is described, not the class – which is why BPMN is here and UML is in the program of the system and software architect.
In which order should I book?
Fundamentals first, then the certification preparation if a certificate is the goal. BPMN 2, creative methods and process optimization do not depend on that order and can be slotted in at any time.
